Safety is Steelscape’s
highest priority. Steelscape understands that its employees are
mothers and fathers, husbands and wives, brothers and sisters within the
community. Therefore, the company’s safe-workplace programs are
designed to minimize risks and promote safe behaviors.
Steelscape has a very
robust, company-wide safety program known as “Zero Harm”. The
program is carried out daily via safety conversations, incident reporting,
safety meetings and a strong employee ownership.
In support of our safety
focus, Steelscape has undergone many site-specific projects within our
manufacturing facilities over the past few years. These projects
have included policy and procedure updates, training, hazard guards,
restructured pathways for moving equipment vs. people, and
Health and Safety (EH&S) Department would be happy to assist any company
looking to gain a better understanding of safety precautions, employee-based
programs or other aspects of our Zero Harm focus.
